Levi “City Boy” Jackson and Michael “Future Mic” Curry joined forces in 2005 with the mission to shape the future of this city and the world of music. Always donning their “G’s” it is important to make known their meaning. The “G” stands for God, Genius and Gentlemen and with them constantly around their necks; the duo is reminded of the challenges that may face them as they embark on their musical journey. They are artists, engineers and producers that have uncharted amounts of individual and collective creativity and vision. The very real life tragedies that they both have faced have made them the men they are today and have given them the inspiration to master all crafts in the industry. Ganga Records CEO’s, City Boy and Future Mic, are two Gentlemen who have given their lives to God and have been blessed with musical genius.

Ganga Records was started in 1999 by Levi “City Boy” Jackson and brother, Carl “Big C” Jackson. Ganga started with a roster of 13 artists and now stands a strong six. Ganga was one of the first legitimate Rap/G-hop record labels in the city of St. Louis, making serious noise. Ganga was the home to many talented, local rappers and still stands as having the best artists in the city. Ganga was the first home of local rap group SLU Crew’s Big-Will (106th and park Freestyle Friday hall of famer). Today Ganga is stronger than ever. In the summer of 2005, Ganga took its business to the next level by joining business partners with St. Louis’ best R&B singer, producer and writer Future Mic a.k.a. Capt’n Hook. With the addition of Future Mic, Ganga is without a doubt, the most talented and successfully rising record label in St. Louis. Working out of Upbiss Studios, Ganga is scheduled to release two albums shortly from the H.N.I.C.’s Future Mic and City Boy, who state that Future Mic is the “Kang of R&B” and City Boy is the “Kang of G-Hop.” It’s hard to argue against it after listening to the product. Ganga’s roster includes the following talented artists: Apostlez member, “Nikel Yo”; seasoned veteran, “Steel Bill”; gifted lyricist, “Leroy Jenkins”; and “Heat” just to name a few. Ganga Records recently started working with Az One, the R&B duo of sisters (and winners of BET Wild Out Wednesday, Taxi/Billboard Independent Disc Makers) creating an explosive line of talent. Ganga is and always will be the best music in the world!
